Made with PADI to mark 60 years of Seiko diver’s watches, this compact diver combines elements of two Seiko designs known to collectors as the Samurai and the Shogun: the steep angled lugs of the Shogun and the crown design of the Samurai.
The green gradient dial shows the ocean surface as seen by a diver, with sunlight coming through. The slim 12.3mm case has a date at 4.30, pointed hands, LumiBrite and a bracelet with press formed links. It meets ISO standards for diver’s watches, is water resistant to 200m with a Hardlex crystal, and runs on the automatic calibre 4R35 with a power reserve of about 41 hours.
