Part of the collection marking 145 years since Seiko opened as a clock and watch repair shop in Tokyo in 1881. The dial is Edo purple, a traditional Japanese colour from the Edo period, and the edition is limited to 8,000 pieces.
The black and purple aluminium bezel carries a tachymeter, and the hour and minute hands follow the 1969 Speedtimer. There are 12 LumiBrite points around the dial for reading in low light. The case is 13mm thick with a sapphire crystal and water resistance to 100m. The in house V192 solar quartz chronograph charges from natural or artificial light, is accurate to within 15 seconds a month, has a power reserve indicator and holds around six months of power when fully charged.
