This Seiko 5 Sports model is based on the SKX399 from the 1990s SKX series. It keeps the layout of the original dial in orange, with textured indices and hands.
Updated finishing includes stronger knurling on the bezel and a glossy glass bezel insert. It is fitted with a black silicone strap and has a curved Hardlex crystal, a 13.9mm thick case and water resistance to 100m. Seiko’s in house calibre 4R36 provides the day and date, with a power reserve of about 41 hours.
