A PADI Special Edition from the Prospex range, made with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. The case shape is known among Seiko collectors as the Samurai, for its sharp angular lines.
The blue dial reflects the light seen from under the water’s surface, and the light blue minute hand and bezel scale help legibility at depth. The bezel has a ceramic insert, the sapphire crystal has a date magnifier, and the silicone strap is printed with the PADI name. The case is 12.8mm thick and water resistant to 200m, and the automatic calibre 4R35 has a power reserve of about 41 hours. Seiko donates proceeds from each watch to the PADI Ocean Cleanup campaign.
